Make sure you bring your thinking cap, however, because this webinar includes an interactive, ‘choose your own adventure’-style activity where your choices will determine the decisions an organisation makes on its journey towards a new workplace strategy.
The events of the last 12 months have prompted organisations to think about how their employees will be working after the pandemic and what this will mean for their workplaces. Some organisations have already come up with post-pandemic workplace strategies, but many are still trying to work out how to move forward.
Based on the latest guidance notes from our ‘Creating better workplaces’ partnership with Ricoh, including ‘Empowering people’ and ‘Optimising workspaces’ (the latter of which will be released the same day), this webinar will explore the different ways in which organisations may approach the future of workplace.
With the use of polls, you will influence the ‘real time’ decisions a case study organisation chooses to make. A Q&A discussion will then review in more detail how the case study played out and discuss the potential implications for our profession.

Peter Brogan
Peter is Head of Research and Insight at IWFM where he manages the research, insight and information that positions IWFM as the voice of workplace and facilities management. He manages the delivery and development of the Institute’s research and insight activities.
An influential Research specialist with unique experience and a sustained record of success in both the public and private sectors. Extensive background in diverse service organisations, managing complex research projects from inception to completion.
Ian Ellison
Ian co-founded 3edges.co.uk and Audiem.io to help people understand and enhance the organisational value of workplace. With over 20 years’ experience spanning workplace and facilities management practice, education and consultancy, Ian has developed a reputation as an engaging facilitator and provocative speaker. He is passionate about the power of workplace to enable better business outcomes.
Ian is also co-founder and host of the Workplace Geeks podcast, with Chris Moriarty. Especially interested in change leadership and workplace challenges within organisations, Ian has delivered diverse workplace change projects to help facilitate organisational performance improvement. He has also written numerous journal papers, insight reports, magazine articles and book chapters exploring different workplace and FM topics.
Simone Fenton-Jarvis
Simone is Workplace Consultancy Director at Relogix and has over 13 years’ experience in FM and Workplace. Simone believes an organisation needs to put people first, and it’s this belief that has driven her initiatives and work within the industry. Simone is an advocate for lifelong learning, has completed an MBA in FM, is a keen reader, and a regular attendee at events. She is also a Fellow of IWFM and the vice-chair of the Workspace Special Interest Group. Her hope is to drive an industry where workplace FM is truly recognised as a key for all businesses.
James Pinder
James is a workplace consultant and co-founder of 3edges. He’s passionate about helping organisations to improve their workplaces through better insights, employee engagement and change leadership. James is adept at making sense of complex workplace problems and helping organisations to understand what’s really going on with their workplaces and why. Over the last twenty years he’s worked with a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors, carrying out a mix of workplace consultancy and applied research. James was co-creator of the highly successful Workplace Leadership Programme and recently co-authored IWFM’s Creating Better Workplaces series of guidance notes for FM and workplace practitioners.
