The IWFMs Annual General Meeting provides members with the opportunity to engage with the Board and exercise their vote to contribute to the future direction of the Institute.
Based on the current Covid situation and the need to ensure we comply with Government and Public Health England’s guidelines we are reviewing how we will hold the AGM on an ongoing basis. We have planned to hold a face to face AGM which will now be held in London, rather than a Region. However, we have contingency plans in place to change to a virtual AGM if required.
Details will be continually updated as soon as they are known, so please bear with us in these unprecedented times and forward any questions or concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org
Any member can attend the IWFM AGM. However, we do ask that you pre-register using the ‘book’ link shown. This will enable us to manage security at the venue, or if virtual enable us to send out the webinar invites in advance of the meeting.
UK Engage is the IWFM’s independent scrutineer and manage both the NED nominations, NED voting and Resolution voting via an on-line platform, which is emailed directly to eligible voting members, this process will continue as normal.
Based on having to change the date of the AGM to later in the year, the IWFM have extended the NED nominations window to 17 June, to enable eligible members extra time to complete their nomination during this difficult time.
