Claire is responsible for delivering our Social value commitments in a collaborative and impactful way working with clients, suppliers and employees to deliver sustainable change.

Claire has spearheaded a scientific and realistic approach to Sodexo’s Net Zero plans and she leads the relationship with SBTi – the Science Based Target Initiative which drives ambitious climate action by enabling companies to set science-based emissions reduction targets, in line with a 1.5 degree future.

Claire has a strong track record in environmental services, prior to joining Sodexo she worked for Scott Wilson, an engineering and environmental consultancy, providing support in resource efficiency, waste and environmental management.  As part of this Claire worked for the National Industrial Symbiosis Programme (NISP) facilitating mutually beneficial links between businesses to divert waste away from landfill, reduce carbon and virgin resources as well as improving their profitability.  Prior to Scott Wilson Claire was an Executive Officer of an environmental charity providing support to businesses with a particular focus on SME’s.  Claire began her career in the Environment Agency as a Lead Environment Officer managing waste sites, enforcing legal compliance and undertaking pollution prevention, hazardous waste and waste minimisation audits across a range of sectors.

Eileen Duggan (RTÉ) is the Sustainability and Environment Services Manager for RTÉ the national broadcaster in Ireland. Eileen has experience in the areas of environmental management and contract management. She holds a Master’s in Business Practice and has qualifications in Governance Risk and Compliance and Environmental Management.

Eileen Chairs the Green Broadcaster Advisory Group within RTÉ from which targets and achievements are recorded and progressed. In 2017 RTÉ was awarded the Overall Pakman Award. The Pakman Awards event is a national competition which recognises excellence in Waste Management and Recycling.

Eileen is a published author and an EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council) accredited coach.

Ken Gormley has over 30 years’ experience working in the build environment and facility services form Manufacturing and Healthcare to the Corporate and Education sectors. With experience working overseas for also 15 years in the Automotive and Print industries. Starting out as an apprentice Electrician returned to education and has a BA in Business Management. He is currently responsible for the Royal Colleges in Ireland Estates & Facilities Services.

Ken is a member of the IWFM and the MIoD and is a past lecture on the Portobello Institute Facility Management courses. Also Holding the current positions of, Chairman of St Michaels House Housing Association and a Board member of St Michael House Group Board.

Lesley is the Studio Leader and Design Principal at Unispace, Ireland.

An architect by background, she has been involved in award winning commercial offices across EMEA for the last 15 years. In that time she has helped clients define and customise their environmental requirements, standards and vision for their buildings and the people who will occupy and operate them. She has lead numerous BREEAM/LEED accredited schemes and is now continuing to assist clients on their route to achieving their carbon neutral / negative requirements for their office fit out.

Matt Kennedy (Phd) is an energy and environmental scientist and engineer, with over 20 years’ experience in delivering national and international carbon, climate and sustainable development initiatives across government, industry and academia. As Associate Director for Arup’s Carbon and Climate Change Team, Matt leads carbon and climate change services and sustainable development within infrastructure, buildings and cities across the Europe Region. He has worked with the United Nations on technology needs assessments, energy market transformation and electro-mobility projects across Africa, Asia and Middle East.

Matt was lead EU Negotiator for technology transfer at COP21 UNFCCC and was a member of the UNFCCC Technology Executive Committee. Matt is an Advisory Board member of UN's Climate Technology Centre and was its previous Chair. He served as Chair of the IEA’s Renewable Energy Technology Deployment Implementing Agreement. Matt holds a PhD in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin, and Masters degrees from NUI Galway and University College Dublin.

Paul joined Coats in 2018 to lead the global environmental strategy for all Group Operations, including 50 manufacturing sites in over 30 countries. Paul’s key remit is to create, implement and improve the global environmental management system to ISO 14001 and the energy management system to ISO 50001. Paul is also a member of the Sustainability Delivery Team, who published the first ever Annual Sustainability report for Coats in 2019.

Dearbhla Stapleton is the SEAI’s Business & Industry Programme Manager.  Her role involves the delivery of a range of supports to businesses looking to reduce their energy use and decarbonise their activities. A Chartered Mechanical Engineer, Dearbhla has over 20 years’ experience in engineering consultancy. She has worked with businesses across the public and private sectors including infrastructure, buildings and industry. She brings a passion for driving Ireland’s transition to decarbonisation, and providing supports to businesses on their sustainable energy journey.
