We all responded rapidly when COVID-19 hit us. The sector has seen its importance skyrocket and take on a strategic importance that we have long been fighting for. As we start to implement our short-term plans in the recovery phase, we must also use the opportunity to re-imagine what workplace and facilities management bring to the table.

Representatives from the People, Workspace and Technology SIGs are coming together this Friday for the ‘One step beyond COVID-19 webinar. A panel including Yemi Akinwonmi, Claire Hollister, Dan Wakelin and Robin Stephens, and moderated by Simone-Fenton Jarvis (Chair of the Workspace SIG), will discuss the longer term impacts of COVID-19, looking ahead six-to-12 months.

This webinar is an opportunity to hear more about possible scenarios for the long-term future of workplace and FM. It is also an opportunity to focus on the wellbeing of staff as many will have suffered during lockdown and will have anxiety around the return to work and how to best manage this.
