Social value in FM: workshop to develop sector specific measurement framework

On Friday 10 May, the National Social Value Taskforce, the Social Value Portal and IWFM are holding an interactive workshop at Nationwide, One Threadneedle Street, London. The objective of the day is to identify how the workplace and facilities management profession is delivering social value through its activities, from procurement to delivery, and how these outcomes and impacts can be developed in future.

With social value, wellbeing and sustainability now firmed established as critical factors in how government and businesses contract services, IWFM has driven debate on these issues within the sector and led on customising a measurement framework for our profession.

Following the workshop, we will continue to work with the National Social Value Taskforce and Social Value Portal on producing a property and facilities management plug-in for the National Social Value Measurement (TOMs) Framework which will form the minimum reporting standards for the sector.
