Overview
For many years workplace and facilities management professionals have discussed how best to demonstrate the added value of their work with the aim of settling any doubts about their strategic credentials and potential as a business discipline worthy of the elusive ‘seat at the board’.
However desirable this has been, it is yet to materialise. This is partly due to a laser guided focus on cost management, for a variety of reasons, and the difficulty of providing quantifiable evidence of impact, drawing comparisons with the illusive ‘Holy Grail’.
