Vince has worked in the Facilities Management industry for over 14 years, working within the Operations and Technical departments for Hemlow.
Starting his career working for a fire alarm manufacturer, building bespoke panels for London Underground, he progressed his career designing and creating schematics for a HVAC control panel manufacturer. Using this knowledge, he joined the Hemlow Technical department where he labelled himself as a ‘fault finder’, his role was to help modify control panels on plant equipment for the projects team and find faults at site and fix them.

Having joined the company in 2007, Vince progressed through a number of roles. From Engineer to Lead Engineer, to Supervisor, to Manager and then most recently he was promoted to Technical Regional Manager, last year.

His journey has exposed him to many areas of the business, allowed him to build a vast array of experience and knowledge and build long lasting relationships both internally and externally.

Since January 2020 Vince has helped bring the company into the 21st century, playing a major role in updating not only the company’s software (Has incorporated the use of software for the use of condition surveys etc over the previous manual task) but also company processes to help improve internal efficiency and external client satisfaction.

In addition to this Vince also spends his time mentoring others in the company and contributes to the running of our Hemlow Improver Programme – designed to encourage and offer anyone at any stage of their career a route into Engineering.

Before joining the University, Paul was as a senior manager and director in the private sector, successfully leading teams in the design and manufacture of innovative intelligent building controls. In his current role Paul is the focal point for the delivery of business support and collaboration projects to maximise opportunities for SMEs working with the University of Wolverhampton.

Davoud is a highly experienced energy professional, Davoud has spent more than 20 years successfully delivering energy efficiency projects across the UK. He has led on large efficiency and carbon reduction programmes across a range of industrial sectors including automotive, aerospace, chemical, food & drink, and pharmaceutical, In addition to projects within the industrial sector, Davoud has delivered a wide-range of efficiency and decarbonisation projects within the public sector, in particular within the education sector and NHS.

In addition to energy efficiency, Davoud has been recognised for leading strategic programmes which have helped clients with their plans for net zero, including assessing decarbonisation projects on behalf of Salix.

Hashil's background is mechanical engineering with an operational and environmental bias. Hashil trained and qualified in South Africa and has worked in the building services industry since 2001. As a qualified Low Carbon Consultant, Hashil’s primary role is to offer expert advice on design, maintenance and reducing carbon emissions through efficiently managed and sustainable building services. As a fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Hashil is active in this role at the highest level including expert witness services and technical due diligence managing landlord / tenant disputes. ‘I am passionate about energy in buildings; this is a field ranging from energy studies, to low energy design to all the regulatory requirements. I have gained expertise in all aspects of these’.
