Strategic leaders, don't miss the opportunity to shape the future of workplace and facilities management (WFM) and make a meaningful contribution to IWFM. Applications to join IWFM’s Board as a Non-Executive Director (NED) close at 5pm Friday 9 May.

With two open slots available, this is a major opportunity for eligible members (Certified grade or above, held for at least six months) to drive change and develop professionally.

Regi Taylor, Associate Director at Kyowa Kirin and IWFM NED since 2024, said to Facilitate last year, “Simply being an IWFM member is valuable, but by being on the board you can have your voice heard. You can do more to reach the goals we’ve been discussing because the NED role allows you to cascade it down through the Institute.”

While the NED roles are unremunerated, they carry the same statutory duties and responsibilities as Executive Directors.

Eligible members received an email from UK Engage on 14 April with details on how to self-nominate via an online platform. Remember to check your junk and spam folders.

Key dates:

  • Nominations close at 5pm on Friday 9 May

  • Election date on Monday 23 June (online voting open until Friday 18 July)

  • AGM and NED Announcement on Thursday 24 July (virtual attendance available)

IWFM is committed to diversity and welcomes applications from all members regardless of background. If you have the skills and passion to make a difference, don't delay – apply now.
