Join the IWFM UAE Region and guest speaker Padam Jain from Azbil Corporation to learn about strategies for enhancing HVAC energy efficiency.

Improving the energy efficiency of an HVAC system not only reduces energy consumption and costs but also plays a pivotal role in environmental conservation. In addition to using a Building Management System, regular maintenance and fine-tuning of system parameters are essential. It is also necessary to adapt strategies that control HVAC equipment in coordination with each other to maximise energy savings, from the chillers to the last unitary equipment in a room.

This presentation will cover advanced strategies for chilled water systems, air handling units, VAVs, and FCUs.

Padam Jain

Managing Director, Azbil Corporation (Middle East Branch)

Padam is currently Managing Director of Middle East Region at Azbil Corporation (Formerly known as Yamatake Corporation), which is a leading manufacturer and supplier of a Building Management System from Japan for more than 120 years. Padam has worked at Azbil for 14 years in various leadership and managerial roles and leads strategic planning, sales, operations and general management.

Previously Padam has worked in Honeywell Global Engineering center and has extensive experience of Engineering Center management and Project management of specialty projects. Padam in his engineering role was involved in the execution of several mega projects such as HK Airport, Taiwan High Speed Railway, Pfizer research laboratory to name a few.

Padam is a Graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication and completed STANFORD-NUS Executive Program in International Management. He has spent 26+ years in building automation industry and worked across different geographies and sectors. This extensive background helped him develop considerable expertise in drawing advance control strategies for complex HVAC systems and optimising energy systems.
