1 October 2020 12pm – 1pm Webinar Online

Overview

Join us and a variety of expert guests for our new regular webinar series, 'Navigating turbulent times', where we delve into today’s greatest challenges, tackle your questions and concerns, and help our profession navigate through these stormy waters.

‘Navigating turbulent times’ episode 21: ‘Sustainability: today's landscape and how to create change'

Join us 12pm Thursday when we launch the influential IWFM Sustainability Survey 2020 Report in partnership with Inenco – arguably the most important of its thirteen-year history as the world grapples with the climate emergency in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.

Over the course of 75 minutes (during which 75 million tons of the Greenland ice sheet will melt), we’ll take you through the Survey findings, discuss what they tell us about the sustainability agenda in 2020, offer guidance on how you can create change in your organisation, and answer your questions.

Joining our host, Peter Brogan (Head of Research and Insight, IWFM), for this special episode of ‘Navigating turbulent times’ are two panellists with extensive knowledge of the Survey and the sustainability agenda:

  • To guide you through the findings, Greg Davies (IWFM Sustainability SIG Chair): ‘For well over a decade, the Survey has provided an insight into industry thinking, but never against such a backdrop. How has this affected the workplace and marketplace and what aspects of sustainability are seeing greatest impact?’

  • To show you how to create change for the better, Duncan Edward (Head of New Business and Partnerships, Inenco Group): ’This year’s Survey has evidenced sustainability’s growing importance, but it has also identified many barriers. I will address how to best achieve stakeholder buy-in and create a clear and actionable sustainability plan that can result in higher margins, greater rental values or better investment yields.’

Register your place now and join the conversation.

You can submit your questions live during the webinar or email us ahead of time via: [email protected]

Should you like to remain anonymous if we select your experience or question for the broadcast, please type ‘ANON’ in caps at the start of your message.

If we cannot get to a question during the webinar, we will aim to answer as many as we can after the fact.
