Join our IWFM Midlands Region on 16 April for an overview of the different types of maintenance specifications for your building, dependant on your requirements.

We will cover statutory maintenance requirements, performance led maintenance and planned preventative maintenance, delving into the importance on completing statutory tasks and the impacts of failing to carry out these services.

Due to COVID-19 there has been guidance provided by CIBSE to updated running on HVAC systems and extracts. We will provide an update on the latest guidelines for these systems and other areas to consider in the office environment.

Speakers

Mark Bellinger

Technical Support Manager, Hemlow

9+ years’ experience in the FM, M&E and HVAC engineering sector.

After graduating, Mark started his career at a start-up FM company. Experienced in sales, and account management. Mark ran his own engineering projects, developing into water hygiene services.

Mark moved into consultancy, providing audits, managing tenders for installations and maintenance, including specifications, capital expenditure and dilapidation reports for commercial clients. Mark was a conduit for surveyors to ensure that sites were compliant, screening quotes for value and technical content. Mark conducted due diligence surveys and provided technical reports. Mark undertook project management, including the M&E fit outs.

Mark joined Hemlow in 2020, ensuring that contracts are mobilised proactively through condition reports. Mark ensures that contracts have accurate schedules of assets and maintenance whilst operationally life spanning according to industry guidelines. Mark provides CPD training for staff, and clients. Mark identifies sustainability projects to  reduce CO² and energy expenditure in the portfolio.

Elizabeth Lyon

Key account manager, Hemlow

Elizabeth has worked in the Facilities Management industry for over 8 years, working within soft and hard services in operations and sales.

Starting her career as part of the Mitie graduate scheme, Elizabeth worked through various placements including sales, marketing, soft and hard services operational management. After, joining the Business Improvement Team, Elizabeth received her Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma methodology.

Elizabeth then moved to Churchill Services to become Operations Manager for the Midlands team, assisting in the expansion and development of the region. Managing a team of Account Managers and working closely with clients Elizabeth was able to bring her Lean methods to Churchill and naturally progressed into a Sales role.

Since June 2019 Elizabeth joined the widely expanding team at Hemlow Ltd who provide mechanical and electrical maintenance services across England. As part of the role Elizabeth has also taken a front step in Energy Management, utilising her degree in BSc Geography International to formalise a Climate Change and Energy Management training course whilst expanding the Midlands and North region.

Kris Rowland

Technical and compliance manager, Sever Trent Services

Kris has worked in the water treatment and Legionella control industries for 21 years and currently works as the Technical and Compliance Manager for Severn Trent Services – Water Hygiene. He has a background in analytical microbiology and chemistry and managed an analytical laboratory for 15 years, in addition Kris has worked for four FM companies in the capacity of Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager, Training Manager and Safety Officer.
