5 ways to celebrate the profession on #WorldFMDay

Workplace and facilities management (WFM) plays a lynchpin role throughout the year, but World FM Day on Wednesday 8 May serves as a key date to celebrate success and highlight WFM’s strategic importance. By doing this, we help build bonds across the community, showcase WFM to jobseekers and draw attention to WFM’s tangible benefits to people, profit and planet.  

From the frontline to the C-suite, WFM professionals are invited to take part in a range of initiatives. This year’s theme is ‘Inspire, Integrate, Innovate:  Ignite your career in FM’, an opportunity to: 

• Share your experiences and what the sector means to you on social media, using hashtags including #WorldFMDay, #InspireIntegrateInnovate and #IgniteYourFMCareer. 

• Access assets in IWFM’s bespoke media pack, share in your network and attach to any social media posts. 

• Network and discover industry developments at our Rising FMs Network and London Region event where they invite the community to learn more about water and honey.  

• Discover IWFM’s suite of industry-recognised learning and development qualifications, training courses and IWFM Mentoring, allowing you to enhance your career and organisation.  

• Reflect on the progress of yourself, your organisation and the community since last year’s event; consider what you’d change and retain for the time ahead.
