Decarbonising the workplace – IWFM & Equans grapple with a hot topic

There was a real buzz of excitement and enthusiasm at last week’s ‘Decarbonising the workplace’ event.  

Hosted by Equans UK & Ireland and the IWFM Sustainability SIG, facilities professionals from across the country met in the heart of Canary Wharf to share successful strategies for sustainable workplace and facilities management (WFM). 

In a week of extreme temperatures, the event was perfectly timed to create a renewed focus on sustainability and carbon reduction across our sector.  

From an in-depth and insightful presentation on how we can align our work through regulatory frameworks, to case studies discussing how we can help our communities while reducing Scope 3 emissions, the event gave us a range of genuinely tangible actions to take home and enact in our organisations.
