With the IWFM AGM nearly upon us, it’s time to vote for the people who’ll steer the future direction of your Institute, and for the resolutions being placed before the AGM this year.
Our Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) sit on the IWFM board where they play a vital part in developing the Institute’s aims and objectives, in accordance with its values, and in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
NEDs are voted in by you, as an IWFM member, and they bring a deep professional understanding of the workplace and facilities management world.
You will have already received an email and unique voting link on Monday 23 June from UK Engage, our independent scrutineers who administer the voting process for the IWFM Annual General Meeting (AGM) being held virtually and in Manchester on Thursday 24 July 2025.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have your say. Vote now and elect the person you think has the skills, knowledge, experience and drive to deliver the Institute of tomorrow. You can also view all of the Non-Executive Director (NED) candidates’ statements before you vote by going onto the election platform.
Your vote is important to the Institute, so please use it.
UK Engage will be sending a reminder on Friday 11 July with your unique security code so don’t worry if you can't find the original. Just make sure you check your spam and junk boxes.
And don’t forget, if you are both an individual member and a main contact for either a Group or Corporate membership, you will receive more than one email as you are entitled to more than one vote – both your own personal vote and one on behalf of your organisation.
Online voting for NED’s is open until Friday 18 July 2025, with proxy voting for the AGM resolutions closing on Tuesday 22 July 2025, with the ability to also vote remotely on the resolutions on the day at the IWFM AGM. New NEDs will be announced at the AGM.
You can register to join the AGM online here.
And you can book to attend in person in Manchester here.
