Leading up to the 2023 AGM, members had the opportunity to vote for four candidates to fill three Non-Executive Director vacancies, with the results announced on the day (Thursday 27 July).

We are pleased to confirm that Moses Ayoola FIWFM and Jake Drummond CIWFM are elected to the IWFM Board for three-year terms, while Andrew Hulbert FIWFM is re-elected to serve for a further three years.

With almost two decades’ professional experience, Moses Ayoola is an IWFM Assessor, a Trust Management Executive at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, and Essentia Executive member at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He also won ‘Account Manager of the Year 2021’ at the IWFM Impact Awards. Moses commented: ‘As an inclusive and values-based leader, I relish the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to the IWFM Board, members and the wider workplace and facilities management community.’

A recipient of the Institute’s ‘Strategic Learner Award’ in 2017, Jake Drummond is a senior civil servant in the Government Property Function with vast experience in the facilities profession, underpinned by an MBA in Facilities Management. Jake commented: ‘I'm passionate about improving the profile of the workplace and facilities management industry and, through my role in the Government Property Function, I will aim to help strengthen the links between the Institute and central government.’

Having served a term already, Andrew Hulbert is well known to the Institute. We look forward to him continuing his avowed focus on equity, diversity and inclusion, financial robustness, and developing future leaders. Andrew commented: ‘It’s been a genuine privilege to serve for the last three years, and I am keen to continue the work I have started.’

The Chair also paid warm tributes to two outgoing NEDs: former IWFM Chair Martin G Bell, FIWFM and Sue Hills, CIWFM, who have each served on the Board for six years.
