IWFM is delighted to be involved in The Workplace Event at Birmingham’s NEC between 30 April and 2 May. Renowned as the hub for workplace and facilities management (WFM) innovation, find IWFM at stand 3a/H30; we’ll be hosting a VIP lounge with representatives from our Regions, Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Networks throughout the event.

Attendees can network with our committee members, learn more about our initiatives, explore IWFM membership benefits and discover exclusive insights from IWFM in a series of sessions.

Kicking off our agenda is a panel session on the morning of 30 April featuring Dr Hannah Wilson, Senior Lecturer in Research Methods in Business, Programme Manager DBA, Liverpool Business School, who will represent IWFM in a discussion on ’Hybrid Harmony: crafting the future workplace - strategies for adapting and thriving in a dynamic environment.’ Later, IWFM will be hosting a networking drinks event at the Networking Café.

On Wednesday 1 May, IWFM’s Workspace SIG Deputy Chair Claire Hollister and Workspace specialist Ryan Towbridge will present the session Make your space reflect your culture, not someone else's’ at The Knowledge Hub - Culture/Health & Wellbeing. Additionally, IWFM will be hosting a panel discussion about our new Sustainability Survey 2023 research findings. IWFM Rising FMs will also be hosting a networking drinks event for attendees.

On the last day, IWFM’s Director of Communications and Insight Jenny Thomas will join a panel discussion on ‘The strategic workplace leader: changing roles and opportunities.’ Furthermore, IWFM’s Technology SIG Chair Gordon Mitchell will run a session titled ‘(IW)FM - behind the curve or the centre of influence?’ at The Knowledge Hub - Technology/Digital.
