IWFM’s membership grades follow your career, reflecting your professional accomplishments, and demonstrating that you’ve achieved a particular career stage or level of competence in workplace and facilities management.

Facilitate Magazine has been profiling just some of our Fellows in a new series – ‘Well Met’. We wanted to share some of these tales of professional excellence, just to show the many and varied ways that IWFM members make their way to the very top of our profession.

Meet your fellow travellers…

What’s the journey to becoming an IWFM Fellow?
New entrants to the workplace and facilities profession might join IWFM as an Affiliate member, progressing to Associate membership after a couple of years’ experience – that’s the first point at which you’re entitled to share letters after your name as an AIWFM.

Member grade (MIWFM) follows you into management, serving as a testament to employers, colleagues and recruiters about your wealth of knowledge and experience.

As you gain greater seniority, Certified grade (CIWFM) is a sign of outstanding professional credibility in senior and executive positions.

At the top of our profession, are IWFM’s Fellows – the select few who are able to use the letters ‘FIWFM’ after their name, and to wear the highly coveted Fellow’s pin. It's a true mark of distinction and the designation of fellowship is now, more than ever, a demonstration of impact on the profession.
