IWFM Impact Awards 2021: enter our new Breakthrough and Diversity Awards

A big part of the IWFM Impact Awards process involves reviewing feedback from entrants and judges to create categories that best reflect our profession’s powerful reach and diversity; as such, we are constantly evolving existing categories and introducing new categories to help shape the Awards every year.

For the 2021 IWFM Impact Awards, we have introduced four new categories to celebrate the outstanding work being done and you can find out about two of these in more detail below.

Breakthrough Award: celebrating those individuals or teams that have risen to the challenge and, through their work and/or specific initiatives, gained recognition beyond the function in how they have led, influenced and enabled other areas of the business or even beyond it. As a result, they have positively changed the perception and understanding of the role of workplace and facilities management.

Diversity Initiative: recognising best practice in programmes or initiatives that aim to foster and grow diversity and inclusion in an organisation. This Award looks to how specific initiatives can make step changes in creating a more inclusive community and the numerous benefits that come as a result.
