Is it for you?

There are two routes you can take to join at Certified (CIWFM) grade.

For Route A, you must have the following:

  • At least three years' workplace and / or facilities experience
  • At least two years' managerial experience
  • An IWFM Diploma at Level 6 or above

For Route B, you must have the following:

  • At least three years' workplace and / or facilities experience
  • At least two years' managerial experience
  • A facilities management or related qualification at Level 6 or above (which is comparable in size to a Diploma) OR Chartered status of a relevant professional body

Assessment (a one off payment when you join or upgrade to this level via Route B) £99
Certified member subscription £298

Supporting materials

To be assessed for Certified grade via Route B, with your application, you must supply the following:

  • Your CV
  • Your most recent job description
  • CIWFM Declaration form
  • An original or certified copy of your qualification certificate (if applicable)
