The Workplace Paradigm

This knowledge report explores what workplace is, why it is important and what opportunities and challenges it presents for the facilities management profession.  Its overall aim is to raise awareness and understanding of workplace among facilities management practitioners and to encourage them to think about what it means for them. 

The report builds on research carried out by 3edges on behalf of the former British Institute of Facilities Management in 2017 which included interviews with facilities managers and workplace practitioners and an on-line survey of BIFM members.  That research was published as a Briefing Paper: FM and the Future World of Work.
