Do you currently hold a role in shaping diversity and inclusion (D&I) policies or have relevant experience relating to D&I policy and implementation in the workplace and facilities profession? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

IWFM is creating a D&I Focus Group which will look at our practices and policies to ensure we support all of our members and make the biggest possible impact on D&I practices in the sector. To achieve this, we need your expertise and insight.

Make a difference

We are seeking up to 12 people who can help us understand the barriers to D&I within the profession and explore tools to help break them down. We will gather, analyse and share data to inform the profession, highlight opportunities for action, monitor progress, and celebrate achievements which exemplify ‘what good looks like’.   

The focus group will meet every three or six months and is open to all, although people with protected characteristics are especially encouraged to step forward.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference by ensuring that all members feel welcome, included, well supported and valued within our community, irrespective of who they are; and to ensure that the profession reflects the diverse society that it serves.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 27 August with the initial focus group meeting scheduled to be held virtually on Wednesday 22 September, 9-10.30am.
