We are pleased to announce that IWFM’s collective of customer experience experts, formerly known as the IWFM Customer Experience Working Group, has been converted to Special Interest Group (SIG) status in recognition of the Group’s important contributions since forming two years ago.

What is the IWFM Customer Experience SIG?

The new Customer Experience SIG brings together people from across the industry with a passion for customer experience (CX) in the workplace.

Since forming in 2020, the Group has produced three pieces of guidance, along with accompanying webinars, to help IWFM members plan and deliver their own great customer journeys. The committee meet regularly, both face-to-face and virtually, engaging through field trips, workshops, and guest speaker sessions, all supporting their three strategic focuses for 2022: exploring persona journey mapping; investigating ROI on workplace CX; and designing and maintaining great workplace experiences.

Jamie McDonald, SIG Chair, said: ‘I’m incredibly proud that the work of our group has been recognised by the Institute, and this formal status will enhance our profile and ability to identify and drive customer-focused change across the industry.’

IWFM’s Head of Research and Insight, Peter Brogan, also commented: ‘It has been a pleasure to work with such committed professionals over the past two years and I look forward to continuing to work with them as a SIG, which further highlights the vital field of CX.’
