IWFM volunteer members and our Chief Executive Linda Hausmanis were among the sector’s luminaries awarded a place in the 2023 ‘Workplace Leaders Top 50’ last week. Announced at the Workplace Leaders Summit in Birmingham, the winners included in the ‘Top 50’ were nominated by their workplace and facilities management peers and judged by an advisory council in recognition of their status as inspiring leaders, innovators, pioneers, and changemakers in workplace.
Linda - who was nominated for both the ‘Driver of Cultural Change’ and ‘Inspiring Leader’ categories – is in fantastic company on the winners’ list, including IWFM Board members Andrew Hulbert and Simone Fenton-Jarvis, IWFM EDI Focus Group member Colin Kimber, IWFM Workplace SIG Chair Ian Baker, IWFM Midlands/Women in FM Chair Nikki Lathbury, IWFM Procurement SIG Chair Chris Jeffers, and former Institute Chair Stan Mitchell.
IWFM CEO Linda Hausmanis commented:
‘I am honoured to accompany some of IWFM’s amazing volunteer members on the “Workplace Leaders Top 50”. Members are at the heart of the Institute: they sit on our Board, including the Chair of Members’ Council, and they inform our decision-making, shaping the future of IWFM and the sector. Volunteer members play a particularly special role as they help the Institute support members and advance our profession, lending their time and expertise to add further value to IWFM membership.
‘I feel especially proud to share this recognition with several of our members in 2023, as this year we are celebrating both 30 years of the Institute and five years since the Institute rebranded from BIFM to IWFM, formally embracing the workplace function within the FM profession.’
The Workplace Leaders Summit is the brainchild of the organisers behind The Workplace Event. This year’s Summit ran from 25 to 27 April and hosted practitioners from multiple disciplines to discuss and explore current workplace challenges.
