Until now there hasn’t been a dedicated e-learning programme specifically designed for WFM teams. This new course has been expertly tailored by IWFM Academy to deliver the IOSH Managing Safely syllabus in a workplace and facilities context. It will get you up to speed on the practical actions you need to take to handle health and safety within the buildings you manage or the facilities services you are responsible for. The jargon-free programme delivers practical, step-by-step guidance with a sharp business focus.

IWFM Academy has gained approval from the leading Health and Safety Institute as a mark of the programme’s quality. Delegates will receive a dual IWFM and IOSH branded Managing Safely Certificate upon successful completion of the programme.

 

What will you learn?

On completion of the course successful delegates will be able to:

  • Identify how the law can have an impact on safety and health in the workplace
  • Describe how to assess, reduce and control risk in the workplace

  • List the benefits and characteristics of an effective health and safety management system
  • Describe the principles that underpin good safety and health performance

How long is it for?

The programme offers up to 21 hours of learning time, and you can pause and return to your learning at any time.

Delivery method

This is an e-learning programme, delivered through the IWFM Academy learning management system.

To pass the training, you’ll need to complete a multiple-choice exam and successfully complete a risk assessment project.
