Overview

Digital technologies have transformed the operational built environment in recent years, providing new opportunities for organisations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience. However, many have struggled to keep pace with these changes or fully realise what they have adopted, leading to a growing digital divide.

To help deliver against digital transformations it's important to take a holistic approach and consider all organisational requirements. While focussing on individual skills, knowledge, experience, and behaviours for what good looks like in workplace and facilities management, the IWFM Professional Standards Framework also considers the entire landscape of an organisation at every career stage.
