To help workplace and facilities management (WFM) professionals understand their duties and responsibilities under the Building Safety Act 2022, IWFM Academy is pleased to introduce our latest course, Competence, leading to Organisational Capability: Methodologies for Evidencing Organisational Capability.

The Building Safety Act 2022 introduces new regulations requiring organisations to demonstrate their Organisational Capability, or the management of competence within an organisation. These requirements apply to both design and construction phases and residential building management. Professionals and organisations will require evidence of their competence management, affecting all areas of the supply chain.

This course explains how establishing the competence required by an organisation to deliver its services is the foundation for demonstrating Organisational Capability. It offers methodologies to develop and evidence capability, including an introduction to the Building Safety Alliance's BSAS 01:2024 Organisational Capability Management System Standard. This course is highly recommended for both clients and organisations wishing to provide services to clients.

1. Building Safety Law – Competence and organisational capability requirements.
