Read our article in FMJ: ‘FMs, your country needs you’

‘But there are key workers who haven’t yet been recognised; those who keep buildings clean, safe and operational for users; crucial practitioners who enable the health professionals, and others beyond that designation, to optimise their effectiveness: workplace and facilities management professionals.’

These words from Linda Hausmanis appeared in our article for April’s edition of Facilities Management Journal (FMJ), where in her regular comment piece our CEO writes about IWFM's concerted push for workplace and facilities management professionals to be recognised as ‘key workers’ at this time of international crisis.

Titled ‘FMs, your country needs you’, the article is a call to arms for our profession and a timely reminder of the important role you can and will play in the months ahead. The article continues:

‘Our profession will be key critical in the weeks and months ahead as the UK battles the pandemic, eventually returns and re-adjusts to what was business as usual, and then pushes on to regain its economic vigour.’
