Overview

Net zero presents the single biggest challenge that anyone working in the built environment has ever faced, and pressure is mounting: by 2030, emissions need to be reduced by 50%, and by 2050, net zero needs to be achieved.

In this report, which we developed in partnership with Mitsubishi Electric, you will gain expert insights and practical tips on changing approaches to energy efficiency and challenging traditional thinking about costs and returns to support your journey to net zero.

Mitsubishi Electric company profile

With a reputation for excellence, Mitsubishi Electric offers an advanced range of air conditioning, IT cooling, chillers, renewable heating and ventilation solutions, all manufactured to exacting standards and supported with the highest level of service and maintenance throughout.

We believe the way to optimum energy efficiency and occupant comfort is through a ‘Lean, Mean, Green’ approach that achieves the right solution for each individual building: Lean - Reduce energy consumption; Mean - Deploy energy efficient products; Green - Incorporate low carbon technologies and ensure they are effectively maintained throughout their operating life.

It is also becoming increasingly important for companies to be ‘Seen’ and be able to clearly demonstrate what they are doing to mitigate energy use and reduce carbon emissions. As a manufacturer with over a century of innovation and customer-focus, Mitsubishi Electric is here to help you on your road to net zero.
