Stay tuned with IWFM for new guidance, webinars and events in spring. Today, we’ve launched our updated Good Practice Guide (GPG) on Fire Safety Management with our partner PlanRadar, which will be followed by a webinar on the topic. Our ‘Navigating turbulent times’ series will see webinars taking place on 11 April on our newly published Energy Management GPG developed in partnership with Carbon Numbers, followed by a webinar on 17 April on the Young Foundation report: ‘Beyond buzzwords – Embedding a systemic approach to EDI across the UK’s professions’. On 12 April, the IWFM South Region are hosting a webinar on ‘Workplace wellbeing with impact’  which covers why workplace wellbeing is important, how employee expectations have changed since the pandemic and why having a strategy is key to prevention. You can register here. On 16 April, the IWFM Rising FMs Network are hosting  a tour of the Lloyds of London building – register here.  

Additionally, the IWFM London Region will do a deep dive into the heart of WFM and the political landscape with their expert panel at this year’s Question Time event in London, where attendees can ask those burning questions, challenge ideas, and gain insights into subjects that matter to them. They will also run their AGM. You can register here.  

Furthermore, on 24 April, join the IWFM UAE Region for an informative presentation by guest speakers T. Rameez, Senior Fire Engineer and Tom J. Wood, Regional Director, both from Vortex Fire, who will tackle the importance of fire life safety inspections for existing facilities. Lastly, on 30 April to 2 May, we invite the community to network and learn with IWFM at The Workplace Event 2024, featuring incisive panel discussions, networking events and the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in WFM.
