IWFM joins the call for a stronger partnership with government.

IWFM is one member of an unprecedented coalition of professional and membership bodies, brought together by Memcom, to make a clear case to government – professional bodies must be recognised as strategic partners in delivering skills, productivity and public service reform. 

The Institute is a co-signatory to this letter from the coalition of professional bodies that collectively represent more than a million members.

IWFM is already walking the walk here, through our strategic partnership with the Government Property Profession, which is committed to accrediting 90% of government workplace and facilities professionals in senior practitioner and leadership roles with approved professional bodies by 2030. It’s encouraging to see so many professional and membership bodies making the clear case for their role in solving some of today’s most pressing challenges.
