Nominations for two Non-Executive Director (NED) vacancies on the IWFM Board will close on Friday 8 May, offering members a final opportunity to put themselves forward or nominate a suitable candidate.

The IWFM Board plays a vital role in setting the Institute’s strategic direction and ensuring strong governance in support of members and the wider workplace and facilities management profession. Non-Executive Directors bring external perspective, professional insight and constructive challenge, helping to ensure the Board reflects the diversity of experience across the sector.

Current IWFM Non-Executive Director Daniel May CIWFM highlights the professional value of taking on the role:

‘Becoming an IWFM NED was a natural step for me. I have gained valuable strategic insight, broadened my network, and developed a deeper appreciation for the impact strong governance and diverse perspectives have on shaping our profession.’

The vacancies are open to IWFM members who can demonstrate relevant skills, experience and a commitment to the Institute’s values and purpose. The roles provide an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level, support the long-term success of IWFM and help shape the future of the profession.

Members are encouraged to consider whether they, or someone within their professional network, could make a strong contribution to the Board.

Nominations close on Friday 8 May. Eligible members should have received an email from our independent scrutineers, UK Engage on 13 April, explaining the process and how to self-nominate via an online platform.
