To equip workplace and facilities management (WFM) professionals with the tools needed to effectively maximise sustainability opportunities, IWFM is soon to launch the 2025 Sustainability Survey.

Undertaken in partnership with Equans UK & Ireland, the survey will analyse current trends, identifying areas for improvement, and ultimately, contributing to a cleaner and greener future for the built environment.

This year, the survey focuses on two key areas:

Climate change and adaptation: moving beyond just carbon reduction, the survey will delve into WFM's role in assessing, analysing and preparing for climate-related risks.

Supply chains and competencies: the survey will explore the relationship between the supply chain, WFMs and providers, including the frequency of supply chain reviews, how sustainability factors in and the level of support in hitting an organisation or client’s climate goals.

By exploring such urgent and impactful trends, IWFM hopes that this year’s survey will gain its most respondents ever – the more respondents involved, the more robust the report will be.

IWFM encourages practitioners across the UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man to participate and share the survey with their nationwide WFM network. With wide-ranging community input, the report will ultimately benefit the WFM sector as it collaborates with organisations on their sustainability journey.
