Now live: The 2026 IWFM Sustainability Survey, in partnership with Equans UK & Ireland

The IWFM 2026 Sustainability Survey is now live, this year focusing on retrofit and refurbishment.
Conducted in partnership with Equans UK & Ireland and developed with the IWFM Sustainability SIG, the survey analyses current trends, identifying areas for improvement, and ultimately, contribute to a cleaner and greener future for the built environment.
The anonymous survey will remain open until 5pm Monday 20 July. It’ll take 10-15 minutes to complete, and is open to participants in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.
Questions will cover areas including:

Retrofit or refurbishment activity across operational buildings

FM involvement and influence in new builds, retrofit and refurbishment

Barriers, enablers and outcomes of retrofit or refurbishment projects

Where retrofit and refurbishment is not happening – and why
The insights we gather will inform strategic decisions, drive practical actions, and create new tools and training, expertly tailored to your needs as workplace and facilities professionals.
