Join us on this virtual meeting to learn about how you can make a difference and bring positive change to the workplace and facilities management industry by becoming a volunteer for our IWFM Regions, Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Networks.

We’ll share the opportunities and requirements of volunteering as well as the next steps. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Speakers

Ian Christopher

Ian Christopher is the Volunteer Partnership Manager within the Memberships & Partnerships team at IWFM. In this role, he works closely with volunteers, committees, and strategic partners to support engagement, collaboration, and the delivery of member‑focused activity across the Institute.

Ian plays an active role in coordinating community and committee initiatives, working across forums and leadership groups to ensure strong connections between members, volunteers, and organisational priorities. He is closely involved in reviewing community activity, supporting strategic forums, and contributing to ongoing development across IWFM’s volunteer landscape.

Through his partnership‑focused approach, Ian supports the effective delivery of events, forums, and collaborative initiatives that add value for members and stakeholders alike.

Cheryl Evans

Cheryl Evans is a Regional Workplace Manager at Ramboll, overseeing CEMEA with the responsibility for all Real Estate management. She has been shaping the FM landscape since 2010, bringing a practitioner’s perspective to strategy, operations, and people-centric workplaces. Cheryl completed her FM training with FM Tutor, finishing in 2015, and has been an active member of BIFM, now IWFM, since its early days.

Her career has been guided by a commitment to applying IWFM’s insights in real-world settings. She has actively leveraged WIFM tools and white papers to drive excellence in workplace management, and she is passionate about giving back to the profession by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Cheryl’s core focus areas are diversity and inclusion, neurodiversity, and wellbeing. She believes that inclusive, healthy workplaces drive performance, engagement, and innovation, and she champions initiatives that create equitable opportunities for all employees. Her work aims to embed wellbeing and inclusive practices into everyday FM operations, policy development, and workplace design.
