30 September 2026 12pm – 1pm Zoom webinar

Overview

Workplace and facilities management remains resilient and central to organisational performance. But the environment in which we operate is becoming increasingly complex. What does this mean for FM professionals, strategic leaders, investors and businesses?

On Wednesday 30 September from 12:00–13:00, IWFM is hosting a webinar to explore the findings from this year's Market Outlook report, 'Headwinds and Hard Choices: a call for insight and agility'.

This year's findings highlight shifts in outlook, priorities and behaviours, underlining the need for informed and agile responses from workplace and facilities management professionals.

Against a backdrop of political change, rising costs and a summer marked by extreme weather events across the UK, our expert panel will examine what the latest Market Outlook findings mean for the profession and the organisations it supports.

The panel will tackle two key themes:

Headwinds: What are the most significant challenges facing the sector today? Drawing on the results of IWFM's latest survey, panellists will explore changing market conditions, emerging pressures and the implications for workplace and facilities management professionals.

Hard Choices: How should organisations respond strategically to a more demanding operating environment? The discussion will consider the impact of recent changes in government, increasing costs and climate-related challenges, and identify practical actions organisations can take as they prepare for 2027.

There will be opportunities to pick the brains of our panel to get actionable, real time insight into how the sector can rise to the challenge.

This webinar is essential for workplace and facilities managers, FM professionals, business leaders, investors and anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the trends shaping the sector.

Our panel features experts from across the industry, and includes the report's author, representatives from IWFM and from HSBC who sponsored the report.

Join us to gain valuable insight into the latest Market Outlook findings, understand what they mean for your organisation and hear practical recommendations for navigating the year ahead.
