Hosted by the IWFM UAE Region, this session will be led by Kulvinder Singh CIWFM, Committee member and Chief Advisor & Asset Management Officer at Adeeb Group. Kulvinder will explore the transition of the built environment from a linear economy to a circular economy, highlighting the environmental implications of current practices and the urgent need for change. Attendees will gain insights into the barriers and enablers of circularity and the pivotal role workplace and facilities management professionals play in driving this transformation.

Kulvinder Singh

Director of Facilities Management , New York University Abu Dhabi

Kulvinder Singh has over two decades of experience in asset management, managing operations and facilities, project management, design, fit-out and construction. Currently serving as the Chief Advisor and Asset Management Officer at Adeeb Group, a leading service organization in the UAE, Kulvinder has a multifaceted remit and is responsible for driving the transformation strategy and scaling the diversification of the group regionally and globally.  

Prior to this Kulvinder served as Director of Facilities & Asset Management at New York University Abu Dhabi, and Senior Asset Manager at Tamkeen Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi. Throughout his career, Kulvinder has been involved in managing high-profile asset portfolios across various industries, including higher education, retail, corporate commercial, residential, and hospitality in the region. Kulvinder has worked in different leadership capacities representing asset owners, designers and consultants, service providers and contractors. His diverse background has equipped him with a holistic perspective to manage the built-environment adopting a whole-life value driven asset management approach, driving a culture of service excellence and raising the bar by fostering curiosity, collaboration, compassion and motivating teams in exceeding stakeholder expectations. 

As a Certified Member of the Institute of Workplace & Facilities Management (IWFM), Committee Member of the UAE Chapter of IWFM, and Associate Member of the Institute of Asset Management, Kulvinder actively contributes to the professional community and speaks at industry events promoting emerging themes shaping the built environment. His academic accomplishments include a MSc in Facilities Management, a Diploma in Asset Management, LEED and NEBOSH qualifications. Kulvinder is pursuing his Masters in Sustainability Leadership from University of Cambridge, and has been recognized by REM Times amongst the top 50 influential Real Estate Management professionals in the UAE.
