If you have at least two years' experience in the profession or one years' experience and a related qualification at Level 2 or above, you may be eligible.

There are two routes to join at Associate (AIWFM) grade.

Route A

  • At least two years' workplace and / or facilities experience

Route B

  • A facilities or related qualification at Level 2 or above
  • At least one years' workplace and / or facilities experience 
Membership fees
Assessment (a one off payment when you first join or upgrade) £49
Associate member fee £219

Supporting materials

To be assessed for Associate membership, you are required to supply a copy of your CV. You must also complete an AIWFM declaration form and, if applicable, submit an original or certified copy of your qualification certificate.
