As 2025 draws to a close, I want to take a moment to thank every one of you, across all our communities, for your commitment, energy and passion throughout the year. Together, we’ve continued to demonstrate the vital role workplace and facilities professionals play in shaping better environments for people and organisations.
In the spirit of the season, and with a nod to a familiar festive tune, here’s a whistle-stop tour of some of the highlights from the past 12 months…

And on the twelfth day of Christmas, IWFM brought to me…
A well-earned break. As Andrew Hulbert said at this year’s Awards, ‘The work we do matters’, and it’s your work and your commitment to this profession that make our Institute stronger, more resilient and ready for the future.
From all of us at IWFM, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
With kindness
