22 April 2026 12pm – 1pm Zoom webinar

Overview

Join the IWFM People Development Special Interest Group for an engaging online session focused on building professional capability in workplace and facilities management, featuring a practical CPD session with Beth Goodyear of FMHS Consulting titled ‘Managing your personal PPMs for maximum efficiency.’

Drawing on her experience across facilities management and health & safety environments, Beth will deliver a development‑focused session designed to equip attendees with practical tools and approaches they can apply immediately. The session will explore how to strengthen professional capability, support effective leadership and enhance impact across FM and workplace settings.

Attendees will gain practical takeaways to support their ongoing development.

Before the CPD session, we will hold the IWFM People Development SIG Annual General Meeting (AGM). This forms an important part of the event and provides an opportunity to reflect, reset priorities and shape the year ahead for people development across the sector.

During the AGM, we will:

  • Review what the SIG has achieved over the past 12 months
  • Share updates on board and leadership positions
  • Address sector-wide skills shortages and capability challenges
  • Explore what action is needed at three levels - as individuals, leaders and organisations
  • Outline priorities and opportunities for the year ahead

The event will conclude with an interactive Q&A, offering the opportunity to ask questions, share perspectives and continue the conversation.

Whether you are developing your own career or leading others, this session will provide clarity, practical tools and direction to support professional growth across FM.
