Damien Cox

Civil Engineer, Uisce Éireann
Damien Cox is a Civil Engineer with over 19 years’ experience across water services, Roads, and Planning. Damien spent 17 years across two local authorities in South Dublin County Council & Fingal County Council before transferring over to Uisce Eireann in 2024 where he worked initially in development management before moving onto the demand management team where he works alongside Brian O’Donovan. Damien has run a number of water conservation pilots to date including the staff flow regulator trial alongside the Green Schools water usage sharing program amongst other things. Previously Damien has held roles within local authorities, in Traffic, Operations, strategic infrastructure & water services forward planning and assessing large planning applications from a water perspective.

Christine Crawford

Water Stewardship Programme Manager, Uisce Éireann

Christine Crawford is Water Stewardship Programme Manager at Uisce Éireann, responsible for leading national programmes that support sustainable water use across a broad customer base. She collaborates with stakeholders across government, industry and the regulatory landscape to advance water stewardship and deliver strategic communications that support positive behaviour change.

Kevin Murray

Metering Policy and Commercial Manager, Uisce Éireann

Kevin Murray is Metering Policy and Commercial Manager at Uisce Éireann, Ireland’s national water utility. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland, Kevin brings over 25 years of experience in water metering, policy, and commercial innovation. He leads national strategies for smart metering, water conservation, and digital transformation. Kevin represents Uisce Éireann and Ireland on international standards committees, including CEN TC92 (Water Meters), contributing to the development of European and global standards. A frequent speaker at industry forums, Kevin is committed to advancing sustainable water management and the future of smart utilities through technical leadership and collaboration. 

Brian O’Donovan

Civil and Environmental Engineer, Uisce Éireann

Brian O’Donovan is a Civil and Environmental Engineer with over 25 years’ experience across water services, environmental regulation, planning, housing, and senior public-sector management. He is currently Demand and Growth Technical Manager with Uisce Éireann, where he works on strategic demand management, demand analysis, growth planning, and technical input to national water resource plan objectives.

Previously Brian has held senior leadership roles within local authorities, in Planning, Roads, Water Services, Environment, Housing, and Community Services, with responsibility for large multidisciplinary teams, significant capital and revenue budgets, delivery of statutory functions, environmental compliance, infrastructure delivery, and regulatory engagement at local, national, and EU level.
