Joseph is a recipient of the Deborah Rowland Scholarship and a member of the Workplace Experience team at Lloyds Banking Group, where he has spent the last 3 years helping to transform FM service delivery. His work has focused on leveraging the built environment to actively boost colleague satisfaction and retention under an end-end Workplace Experience Model.

As someone who is at the start of their WFM journey, Joseph represents the next generation of FM Leadership.

Ella Gladwin is a Degree Apprentice at NG Bailey, studying towards a Chartered Business Management degree while building her career in FM. As part of her apprenticeship, she is rotating through different departments to gain a broad understanding of how an M&E business operates. So far, she has completed placements in operations, work winning and mobilisation.

Ella has recently won the Worshipful Company of Patternmakers' Future Young Leader Award 2026 and was a named finalist for the IWFM Newcomer of the Year Award. Alongside her role, she contributes to the IWFM Strategic Leaders Forum, supporting event management and is actively involved with IWFM Risings, helping to champion the development of early career professionals across the industry.

Her passion for leadership extends beyond FM through her personal initiative, The CEO Blueprint. The platform documents her journey from junior professional to aspiring leader while sharing insights and lessons with others at the start of their careers. Later this year, Ella will host the first CEO Blueprint pilot event in Manchester, designed to equip young people with practical networking skills and the confidence to build meaningful professional connections.

Andrew’s experience spans across all service lines, both managed and self-delivered, in the UK and Europe, as well as extensive experience in law, investment banking, retail, managing agent, media, hotels, TV studios and ICT sectors. He founded Pareto Facilities Management in 2014 to create ‘the most customer service focused FM provider in the UK’, going on to become one of the fastest growing FM Services providers within the sector. Andrew has an MSc in Facility and Environment Management from UCL and has volunteered for the IWFM in various capacities for over eight years.

Lucy is one of the founding directors of Larch Consulting and is the Managing Director of the company. She has over 25 years’ experience in advising organisations on all aspects of FM strategy and delivery and is considered one of the UK’s experts in the field. She has led FM review and implementation programmes for a wide range of well-known organisations from sectors including retail, leisure, finance, science, universities, local authorities, government departments and charities. She was part of the team that developed the Workplace Management Framework.

Deborah is the Director Public Affairs for Sodexo which she joined in 2016. Her role is to manage government and stakeholder relationships that are important to public sector growth in the UK along with monitoring political activity that impacts the organisation.

Deborah is a strategic and operationally experienced property and facilities management professional with over 40 years practice in private and public sectors. An industry thought leader demonstrating best practice in public affairs, stakeholder management, service delivery, asset management, leading business transformation and developing government policy for FM and construction. 

Raising the bar in professionalism and leading by example to make FM a career of choice. She set up the Deborah Rowland Scholarship in 2024 with IWFM to provide access to IWFM qualifications for those that need it. The Deborah Rowland Scholarship

Deborah was previously a senior civil servant with the Ministry of Justice and Head of FM Policy and Strategy in the Cabinet Office. She developed an FM Strategy with central government departments across a spend of £3.2bn for the central government estate to drive out efficiencies. During her time in government, she completed the Major Projects Leadership Academy programme at Oxford Said Business School.

Deborah led the Government Soft Landings policy which was an objective of the Government Construction Strategy to align construction and design with those that use, operate and maintain them as part of the UK Building Information Modelling (BIM) Task Group.

She has an MSc in FM, is a Fellow of IWFM and RICS, she is a special advisor to IFMA EMEA and IFMA Foundation boards and a member of Business Services Association board. Deborah was awarded BIFM FM of the Year 2013 and the Global FM Platinum Excellence award in 2014. In 2025 received a SOMO for her social mobility work and setting up the Deborah Rowland Scholarship.

James is a recipient of the Deborah Rowland Scholarship and a member of the facilities team at Kyowa Kirin international plc subcontracted by 4front security , where he has worked for around 3 years helping to run some large-scale projects and the day to day running of the facilities team.

As someone at the start of his FM journey James represents veterans and what they can bring to the FM world and prides himself flying the flag for other service leavers and showing that their knowledge and experience is valued within FM.
