This year, we’re seeking dedicated workplace and facilities management (WFM) professionals to volunteer in our Region and Special Interest Group (SIG) Committees.

If you’re passionate about WFM, thoughtful about what can change for the better and keen to share your learnings, you have the chance to make a lasting difference for others in the profession.

By volunteering at IWFM, you will:

  • Play a pivotal role in creating a supportive community where professionals can connect, share knowledge, and thrive together.
  • Be at the forefront of industry innovation, ensuring that our members stay at the cutting edge of their field.
  • Inspire the next generation by engaging with schools, universities and colleges, igniting the passion for WFM among the next generation, inspiring young minds to join our industry, ensuring a bright future for all.
  • Gain essential skills, build leadership qualities, and address some of the critical challenges facing the industry.

Speaking on volunteering, IWFM Members’ Council Chair Pauline Simpkins stated:

“Our community seeks to make a positive difference to our profession over the course of 2024. As such, it matters now more than ever for professionals like you to kindly offer your time and expertise to help guide our community groups; not only do volunteers shape the future of WFM, but they have a fantastic opportunity to network and discover new opportunities. While there is a wealth of experience and skill within the WFM community, it's vital to pass on this knowledge to the next generation. This is an opportunity for you to contribute to our profession and extend a helping hand to others.”

Join us in creating a workplace profession that's more vibrant, inclusive, and forward thinking than ever before. By volunteering with IWFM, you'll be at the forefront of positive change, shaping the future of your industry, and unlocking a world of possibilities for yourself and your organisation.
